I went with 0 offset I believe (same as stock) there was a bit of trimming, but it was all the plastics. I did do a BMC but no rubbing except at full compression and near lock. my front springs have settled a bit though, I was fine before the springs settled (after the trimming).
Towing eyelets vs tie down is the same thing, to secure the vehicle while in transit or towing, and really only have to support the weight of the rig.
The forces experience in recovery far exceed the weight of the vehicle and even gvm, depending on how stuck the rig is, terrain, angle of...
I would order some recovery points... Apex got mine out and I received them in under a week. But, if you can't, I would just be smart, don't go anywhere you can't get pulled back out, and I don't put too much effort in to getting through an obstacle... Bigger efforts require bigger recoveries...
Loaded up the RTT for the WABDR next weekend, and installed the magnaflow overland exhaust. Sounds like a V8 now, but cruiseing around, no more noticeable than stock, until you step on it.
