No problems at all mixing 154W40's from different brands. The 1HZ would be fine with olive oil in the crankcase. It's a low stress application with no special needs.

Thanks. Is it safe to mix oils from different makers if the specs are the same/similar or would that be likely to cause problems? I'm sure the 1hz will be fine with just under 9 L of new oil.
