How much time do you have?
If the calipers are original and nasty, it could be good to get a rebuild kit to replace the rubber seals and take the opportunity to paint them.
If flex lines are original, definitely good to replace those as well...
I keep pondering listing this thing back on Bring A Trailer since I thought most of my fun tinkering was done with it over the past almost year now but here I am spending more money on it for giggles. This is my fourth set of drawers I've built...
Messed around with the fuel pump relay after a no start at the gas station and a AAA tow home...Only the 2nd time in 12+ years of ownership that it needed a tow, first time was a tank of mostly water gasoline many years ago.
If you use the double nut method (see video below): using a ratcheting box wrench help things move faster.
Or, if you want quick and easy you can use a stud remover (socket) and an impact wrench, zzzipp and they're out. If you don't have an...

I got a sidewall puncture while out on trail. and of course learned that my factory jack was seized solid. got it back on trail and finished out the day on the spare (with a 2009 date code).
I had been starting to think...
At this point I (Allegedly) deleted the PAIR valve, and installed some '95 o2 sensors (denso 234-4153) in the place where the PAIR valve pipes were. buttoned it up, and it runs better than ever. what a relief.
Though worth noting, the denso...
Dry ice cleaning followed by laser and coated the axles. Next up, PDR.
Any recommendations for the wheel wells now that it's stripped clean? Not sure what used to be there... was thinking rubberized undercoating?
The ABS module & Relay are sold, I still have the LSPV. I also have the front & rear ABS harness complete with sensor that I will have pulled from the truck and posted up soon.
There are a number of reasons not to eliminate the cats with a big one being avoiding the stink that these make if run without cats. There are numerous reports of this complaint on the forum from others that have removed their cats. Of course...
Appreciate the responses and feedback!
That's a great point. We didn't think about this since we have a 90 degree adapter to remove the filter from the bottom. It seems that there's still some space to access it, but it's tight (shown below)...
Glad for new products, I am not a potential customer, but I use that space some for oil changes to get at the filter and others might also. How much is this in the way?
Hand cranks suck. Nothing appealing about having to stop the truck to stretch across the truck to roll a window up or down. Even slow, poorly working power windows are more convenient than that.
I daily a truck with hand cranks.
"The Window Rocket replaces the power window relay. Using a 40 amp relay to pass the necessary current, then boosting the voltage several volts with a special module ensuring the window motors get the 14 volts they were designed to run on."

Just got done chatting with my sisters a few minutes ago. Today marks the five year anniversary of our mother’s passing. Interestingly, I just realized for the first time last week that today is also the nine year anniversary of the warehouse...
When I got up, I felt pretty good; nowhere near the kind of stiffness or achyness i expected. I made some coffee in the pre-dawn while I considered my options some more. I knew the rational choice was to head back down the canyon, rather than...
I spent the rest of the day resting, considering my options for the rest of the trip against my current condition, as well as reminiscing about my previous adventures in Panamint, starting back in 1991 winching Landcruisers up the waterfalls with...
When I felt better, I threw on the pack and resumed hiking up the canyon to the springs that originally fed the now-dry town (when I packed it in 2014 with @Brian Waag you could still pump water in town in the maintenance shed behind the Hanta...
