my latest southwest road trip had vehicle temp readings between 194 and 205 deg f. highest outside temp was 113 f, highway driving with several long steep fed hwy grades. typically ran 194+ degrees.

just got back from 2500 mile rack break in trip (socal/boulder/sodakota/home) using the quikrstuff rack. worked flawlessly. did some miles on oil field dirt roads (bummmmmpy)....no issues.

after one of my club members read the error code (not avail on torque), the clock spring was id'd. dealer replacement (waaaaaaay too expesive, but it is a safety item) solved the issue....no srs light :cheers:
