Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between gas and petrol? I thought it was the same thing just different names? Or by gas do you mean propane or natural gas?
Carb rebuild might help you? Drive it nice as described above too....
I was also going to change the spring from the clutch pedal to the firewall, but it's NLA (PN# 90905-07006). So if someone knows of an alternative please let me know.

Found some clean Prado doors to cut into half doors. Did 9 hours driving and 3 hours on a ferry in the 73. Missing a few bits but rust free and pretty straight. Picked up an extra spare tire carrier a couple months ago.

I nabbed two wheels/tires off of my wife's 200 last night to see how the size looks on my pickup. It is a jump up in height 1" to a 34" and a bit over 1" more in width. Her 200 has 275/75-17 Yoko G003's on it. The offset is wrong but good...
Some parts arrived these past couple days.
My decals arrived from Australia as well, so i spent the day applying that with a friend. Need to adjust the front door up a couple millimeters, but overall managed to line it up pretty well.
