Replace the timing belt on the Alltrac and sell it. Replace the clutch on the Forester and sell it. You still won't have enough $$ to build up a hot 3FE, so sell the FJ60. Now you have enough $$ but no longer have the Cruiser to put it in.
Welp, had a chance to need/use this new little impact driver ===> Ok I totally get it now!! Love this thing, and it was free!
Also picked up its "matching" 3/8 drill driver and a couple bigger batteries "on special". ;)
Looking forward to...
Those old coolers are awesome. My parents have one in green that went on every one of the many camping trips we did as a family. That cooler is older than I am and is still in use.
I have an old green Coleman cooler leftover from somewhere in the family, the plastic liner inside the lid has separated and sagged pretty bad. I've often thought about reinsulating the whole cooler somehow, would be an interesting project...
Found this in the trash this past weekend, cant believe someone would get rid of this thing! Its in amazing shape, not a single issue with it, has a build date of 12/76.
Ha, old post, but it brings back some memories.....I know the old Harwin road quite well!! My dad spent a lot of time down there picking up random tools he needed back in the day. We had a garage full of old school Craftsman (now in my garage)...
About 22 years ago, bought this original pry bar set, before Harbor Freight existed, from a tool store on Harwin in Houston. Harwin was a street where you could buy fake Oakleys, designer handbags and cheap tools. The long pry bar of the set was...
Cool, I'll go M18 on the impact wrench, already have an M18 implement and charger. And will be adding a M12 drill driver to pair with this little impact, I don't have a battery/cordless drill anymore and it's driving me crazy.
OP, I just saw that Milwaukee has 3 Fuel (I think) impact wrenches (not drivers) in the M12 series: 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch. The 1/2 is listed as capable of 250 ft lbs of nut busting torque.
Definitely get that thing if it is free. They are awesome. That thing will drive a 5" grabber deck screw. They make short work of self tapping screws also.
As far as mechanicing goes. You can get an adapter and run sockets. I wouldn't use it on...
Good question, perhaps I need a little more edumacation...so, I guess it's more of a driver than impact wrench, but still has an impact function (?).
Either way, looks useful, and I still want/need a larger impact wrench.
It's this one....
Ha...the handle on mine isn't any better than yours. It has the original ball on one end (and it's loose) and a big nut staked on the other end, and my handle is bent.
Yea I was going back n forth between getting a traditional drill driver vs this impact. Funny you mention impacts replacing drills, the video on Milwaukee's website shows this little impact being used mostly to drive small screws, and I thought...
impact drivers in general are fantastic. Bolts, screws, you name it. They have replaced drill drivers for a lot of people. Tons of vids on YT about that.
The Milwaukee M12 Fuel line specifically is surprisingly powerful. It really can do a...
My Makita 1/4" hex driver (18volt) is probably my most used battery-powered tool. I use it a ton. Wish I had a second, instead of a drill.
Mostly driving screws (I go through a lot of GRKs) plus 1/4" and 3/8" sockets.
18v Makita is rated for...
So I got a little free gift from work recently. It's one of those gift catalogs of misc. stuff, household goods, electronics, etc...and you get to pick one item.
The tool section has a Milwaukee M12 Fuel 1/4" impact driver/2 battery and charger...
