Dreamed I put this beautiful stage 2 they had at the MWE in it.
Then slowly drove in the fat pig up the pile of rocks with a friend for a quick overnighter.
I was short on time and not feeling it so cut the local new go to a bit short.
Then stopped in the MW Expo and drooled all over this stage 2 turbo. He is claiming 400+hp and 600 ft lb….. I may just stick with the brick after all.
Brutal heat day on the borderlands but had to get a recon of my Arizona Trail section that I steward.
It was hot. It was 90* when we started and topped out at 101*
Jenna and I both bonked hard with about 12 hard miles of single-track still to...
Let us know how it goes. I'm now full on hot wax and can't believe I didn't do it sooner.
But I went through and tried just about every popular lube first. But no vegetable oil.
Rode 13.6 miles in the local woods this morning. Bright, clear, sunny day. In the woods, though, some serious dappling which really made it hard to distinguish trail features.
100 yards into the woods, nearly bonked a deer on the trail. Both...
Today marks one month since my crash/injuries, so NO I DID NOT RIDE TODAY. I still check this thread daily and really enjoy seeing all of your adventures!
My hip is healing up nicely and yesterday I was cleared to go up stairs - so excited to...
Cranked out a 9.75 miler this morning. Fastest pace of the season! I made the loop a bit shorter, as some pesky beavers are flooding out a couple portions. Normally, I don’t mind walking through knee high water, but this morning was too chilly...
20 technical rocky root-y miles last night, followed by parking lot shenanigans. Including this guy
"This is my mountain bike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My mountain bike is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I...
Got out a little later then I wanted today, so it was getting hot. Haven't been on the hardtail for quite awhile. And was really wanting to ride her, felt great to put some miles in.
Got 21 miles in this weekend. Lots of construction nearby, unfortunately. Though, I couldn't help getting a pic of my bike in front of this gigantic John Deere.
After 13 stressful days off, I rode a little under 20 miles of trails this evening. 2 wrecks (both otb), 2 near wrecks, lots of slow to go with all the no skills, and all I wanted to do the whole ride was get off and lay down in the grass with...
Rode 15.5 miles today. Rode one of my normal loops, but tacked on a couple old trails, too. A couple I probably hadn’t been on since 2019. A good, hard ride, all in.
Tired legs from the ride and yesterday’s spin.
Worth it!
just got back from a road trip through the canadian rockies. i got to do some excellent trials and got to do some fishing too rode some trails in bragg creek (which i posted earlier) and then some on revelstoke BC and one ride on rock creek BC...
Hit a trail south of Breckenridge after work. Uphill started pretty meh, lots of old mines and the last bit of downhill was pretty fun. I do need more rocks tho.
They finally reopened the F1 track. Sundays and Tuesdays 6-8pm are for cycling. Just the nudge I needed to get back on the bike.
Knocked out 5 laps. It was 38c and a 12knot breeze coming in from the north.
2 days of riding over the weekend, 1st ride somehow didn't record. Decided to go for a little elevation gain at a local trail ( Bobcat ridge) for a early ride in the morning smoke.
Riding over and down this boulder field for on the back side...
On the trail at 0445 this morning to beat the heat. Have only been back on the bike for 3 weeks after having heart surgery mid May. Having had to deal with a collapsed lung, pneumonia and a lung infection post op slowed me down a bit but feeling...
Hell yeah, I rode today! Did the 8.3 miler and felt like Superman. Railing corners, taking no prisoners!
I don’t know if it’s the cooler weather, the spinning or planets aligning, but I’ll take it!
Dang, sweet ride.
