I'd mainly be concerned about the time spent in Salt Lake as a rental. Likely trips up to the ski areas, so undercarriage rust is a possibility. I'd want really good undercarriage pics up on a lift before committing to a flight.

The MT64 is pretty new, and I haven't come across user reviews anywhere yet. I messaged Cruiser Outfitters and they said they had installed one recently and the owner was pleased.
My last cruiser had the 6112s (with OME 2721 rear springs) on...
Great weekend camping, paddling and adventuring with the family.
Everything felt familiar and worked well. We missed the Rock Rails and lower offset wheels/spacers for climbing up to access the rack.
Also, the rear suspension was pretty...
If you don't want to use the Bilstein rear springs, I have found the OME 2721s pair well for moderate loading. We've been happy with them unloaded or with a full load out of outdoor gear for a family of 4.
Some of the older bull bars mounted the winch base to the front of the bumper (and clocked the controls 90 degrees) which puts the fairlead center in a position that you can't get to because of the winch being there. This necessitated an offset...
The Rival 4x4 bumper was delivered yesterday and I got it fitted last night and into this morning.
Overall install was about as expected, with some challenges getting it in place and mounted solo. Getting the bumper in place with the trim...
Current 2008 has had the 6112s for the past 8 years and 100k miles. No complaints. One of the front shocks weeps a little, but it hasn't affected the ride yet.
I'm in the process of picking suspension for my new 2016, and I am leaning heavily...
Reposting here for build completeness. The absolute most useful mod in our old cruiser was my poor man’s drawer system. Part of what solidified another 200 series for us was this setup. None of the other options had the depth nor the height in...
Some progress and some weirdness…
Lined the two up to start swapping stuff over.
First I moved the Yakima Racks and the cargo bin/drawer system over. Then I started to pull the factory skids, grill, and bumper off the new Cruiser. That’s...
Resurrecting this thread, curious if anyone has seen/run them yet. Slee shows available now. Looking at suspension for our recently acquired 200 and these look compelling. I am tempted to just go back with the 6112/OME combo I have on our 08...
I'll get things swapped over and get it cleaned up in the next month or so and then put her up for sale.
I'm tempted to hang on to her, but the driveway is getting kind of tight.
Congrats on the rig and sounds like a great deal for the condition and mileage. Fan of the "mild build" philosophy. Haven't been planning a front bumper for mine any time soon but I am also tempted by the Rival bumper sale going on.
Hi All Longtime listener and repeat offender back with a fresh start...
We bought our first 200 series 8 years ago as a 2008 with 200k miles on it. It replaced our 100 series with 327k miles. It had a mild build (Bumper, winch, Bilstein 6112s...
Just a heads up, Rival is closing these out for $999 with free FedEx ground shipping. I bought a 2016 last night to replace my 2008 and turn back the mileage clock some, and ordered one this morning. Must be a sign!
You're probably better off getting a set of 20 or 18" factory wheels from a Tundra, LX, Cruiser, or Sequoia. Many styles to chose from, same quality/Fitment as your original wheels, and you'll probably pay for the set of used wheels with the...
I'd bet on rear main. You'll see a drip forming near the little rectangular window at the bottom of the bellhousing where it attaches to the engine block. Could also be valve cover rolling down the side, but that looks like rear main.
Mine has...
