hmmm. Well it is a fte block. That block uses 7x mount arms and rubber mounts. fits a narrow frame (pre 2007 chassis). It is freakin' $40 US. I don't know. You could wait until it is discontinued.

https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentMap/StateDroughtMonitor.aspx?AZ One can zoom in on county and get data as well. Info goes back to year 2000. On the main map you can set up comparison sliders to look at a few periods over the last 25 years...

Instead of resurrecting an ancient thread, try a pm next time. Duct was lost by freight or recipient and I had zero others interested in production. The project died a quick death. When I finally put the 40 series on the market (2007?) I had to...

rick_d replied to the thread How to drain 75 series sub tank??.
There are baffles in the tank which would likely stop the cap from going toward the drain plug- which is small to begin with. Opening the pick up port or the float sensor is bigger access. Both are accessed from above and ideally the tank needs...

Hayden I would just replace the big end bearings and rod bolts (and timing belt) just to zero everything out. Cheap insurance.

The bummer about the cruiserparts shafts is that they were $99 for a long time! new take off sub 20 miles on the whole system.

Eurasiaoverland is 100% correct. Clean it to ID correctly. But time is more than likely up and a total overhaul of pump is in future- soon. In the mid 2000's when low sulfur was mandated in the US, my then 14 year old hdt pump started leaking...

This is my injection pump (from a 4 cylinder). I have temporarily removed the ACSD and put a blanking plate on while I modify my ACSD. I'm no professional, but in my experience (building or rebuilding a couple of pumps myself, but mostly seeing...

Yotahead is a mud member and does diesel injection rebuilds etc in British Columbia. Looking at videos is that diesel or coolant? The automatic cold start device (ACSD) seems like problem. It has rubber coolant lines that run from head port to...

You might be able to gently rotate it without tearing gasket. If FIPG used it won't. I know more than a few shops in the US that do not reshim the bearing race to set preload. I am not a shop, but every single tcase (>15) I have been party to we...

Troubleshoot: A portion of the blue (first photo) is the support bracket for the fuel line (has the weird 10 x 1.5 thread bolt- all other toyota 10mm bolts are 1.25). I would clean before removing anything to ID what is leaking. Also, it looks...

rick_d replied to the thread HZJ73 runs rough on cold mornings.
My hdt on cold (below 40F) startups starts fine but then takes the 15 minutes to clear smoke. Not a glow, but more than likely valve seals. I baby until block is warm and I would pull off on hwy to not cause too much of an issue. Have a new head...

Matt- How clean is your coolant? Did you ever physically inspect the oil cooler behind the injection pump? If all that is good you can run the water pump for 200,000 miles. Icky, has 350,000 on his 1996 hdt in fj60 conversion.

When the ac switch control is rotated on dash when engine is running an electric charge engages the clutch on the compressor and is locks so that the belt will spin compressor and circulate the freon. Otherwise, the pulley should spin free when...
