It’s been brought to my attention that there are folks that can’t attend the event for various reasons, but have an interest in donating to the charity. If that’s the case, please shoot me a P.M. and I’ll provide the necessary steps to do so. A...
It is pretty rare to see a TLCA sanctioned, club sponsored, non-profit benefit wheeling event going strong after a decade, but this event is an example. It takes a dedicated team (Peter, Sam and Charles) plus clubs, volunteers, sponsors and...
Booked my plane tickets, so it’s official!
We will be there representing Terrain Tamer and Valley Hybrids!
Super excited to gibsllly make it out to TN for this event.
And I’m very much looking forward to finally meeting some of my long-term...
Ok here it is I inadvertently said USA not North America as was pointed out to me. Glad to make that correction.
But here it is this week's episode featuring @orangefj45 and Terrain Tamer North America.
This week on THE podcast I get the pure joy of talking to the founder of this mutual addiction forum none other then @woody himself. We talk about the synergy of the Land Cruiser community in making his little article sharing idea has blown up...
So the latest episode was out but I have been informed of some other edits that I need to do. I will share the link to the episode when the new edits are done. Needless to say talking with @orangefj45 about Terrain Tamer North America was a blast.
The design of them had way less friction. 2 leafs versus multiple leafs. The two leafs have large pads between them so there is no
Metal on metal friction.
The cleanest LC100 that I have seen to date was in Little Rock on Kavanaugh Ave, parked in front of Cafe Bossa Nova. I believe the owners were sitting in the window watching me take this picture. @orangefj45
Picked the troopy up from Terrain Tamer. @orangefj45 did the final check and wheel alignment. Replaced the H151 with a H152. I drove it home. First long (100 miles) trip. Love the way it handles. IP needs a bit more tuning. The turbo lags...
@orangefj45 Valley Hybrids does as well. That’s 3! I put a blue marking for torque and a yellow for checking the torque again. But then again I’m not shop. 😀
Yes sir!
We keep oil pans, gaskets, rear main seals ( all OEM of course ) along with lots of other parts in stock.
Always happy to help!

Drove it from Pacifica to Loon Lake. Performed flawlessly on the Rubicon. 4/1 was nice to have. Drove back home. No pop outs, everything functioned with no issues.
Another Orion Update:
After roughly 50 miles of "testing" the cruiser went on a trailer and off to the Rubicon for Rubithon a few weeks ago.
No popping out of low range and the added performance makes any issues or quirks with the high range pop...
So I got a better throttle setup from Jon over at Spector off-road which is going to allow my throttle to operate more smoothly. So much better than the old cable pull that I originally had on there.
I also listened mostly to @orangefj45 and...
We’re definitely having fun with this one!!!!!
The 5-speed conversion is close to completion, Sniper EFI upgrade coming along, knuckle rebuild and Terrain Tamer parabolic suspension upgrade are finished.
Lots more to do but making steady...
Thanks for the referral.
Yes, we make the amounts for this conversion. We also stock lots of service items for these engines, as well as heavy duty, clutch kits, hydraulics, transmission, and transfer case components and lots of other Cruiser...
Thanks very much, yeah there's a bit involved, just collecting info and bits & pieces just now, not starting the swap til late in the year and will be taking my time. Cheers, Mike
