Your issue is likely caused by intermittent air bubbles in the fuel lines. x2: start by replacing all rubber lines (should be 8mm ID) and inspect the hard lines for severe corrosion. (The 3B usually has no return line). * Bypass the sedimenter...

Hauled mulch for my wife's never ending projects. The people at the garden supply were shocked I could fit 2 yards of material in there. No problem!

@svsisu thanks man. Going to order up some pads to see if it all lines up.

Looks like you have the newer 90+ 70 series calipers (same as 92-01 4Runner). Hard to tell from your photo but the newer calipers should have S13WB as the casting mark. The pistons on the newer calipers are both the same size, older calipers one...

Went to go change pads on my 87 bj74 and the pads I got are too small. At first I thought i ordered the wrong pads (fj60/62) but then did some digging and my calipers appear to be different. Can anyone chime in? I’m thinking they are either 90+...

Controversial I know... But I swapped my LEDs back to them hot 24V 5W ers. LED was too fancy... like driving a Rivian robot car or somesuch.

What happens when you get a mechanic who dos not know how to time a 1HZ…. Boom! Valves smashing into pistons.

Drove the BJ74 project to work today. After getting the fuel lines sorted out she's driving much better. I always see this truck parked in the same spot every morning. In my town we dont have a lot of cool imports. In a sea of 5th gen 4runners...

Shiiiiiiit well ok I’m really hoping it’s just the front main seal now. Thanks for the input everyone.

Ah i see 11328 now. I need to get my eyes checked. Beno, is the timing cover gasket prone to leaking? Might have to crawl under there again to see if its just the front main or the timing cover as well.
    • Tanner H
Got a lot of oil up front. Front main seal is going to be replaced for sure, but I've also read some talk about the "timing cover leak" as well. I'm just wondering if I'm confusing myself and the front main seal is also called a timing cover...

Hi all, For posterity, I thought I’d share my ECU troubles on my ’95 KZJ78 in case anyone else runs into the same symptoms. My new-to-me KZJ78 would suddenly shut off after about 15 minutes of driving. It would crank but not start until it had...

Ah ok thanks guys. Makes sense I guess. I just want to point out the photo that is on the listing for the regulator I bought. The photo shows a brand new regulator you could eat off of. The comparison between the photo and the one I received is...

After several days of no call back or email response from cruiser parts, I filed a charge back. Magically that same day I received tracking for my window regulator. It showed up today, what I received was a makeshift box with a used regulator...

Been wanting to get this photo for a while...had to wait until the middle of the night for the parking lot to be empty. Wish I was a better photographer.

@Rigster I was thinking that too..but i would assume the dash light and hub lock light would blink? Maybe not. Also thought maybe the 4wd system was not working for the previous owner and maybe they simply pulled the bulbs out of the cluster...

Check the "4WD" switch in the dash. Verify the plug is still soundly connected/seated properly to the switch. If this plug is disconnected, it will remain in 4WD

@OGBeno Sorry to bug you again on this. Looks like my cruiser parts order is not working out. Plan B. I thiiiink I've scrounged up 69820-60300 as being a ''newer'' part number? This appears to be LH 70 series, non-power, no-vent version.
