If it's going from transmission to transfer don't think it will help. The transfer fill port is lower than the transmission so it can't flow back up hill

Connect the jumper cables to the positive and negative on battery as normal. Other side to starter. Direct voltage to starter will spin it or if it's broken nothing will happen. Secure the starter somehow if it's removed it'll want to spin
