Drop the rear headliner edge and unplug that cutoff pigtail from the vehicle harness. Looks like the hatch side got cut. I'd bet you can just plug in the hatch harness you have and make it work. I *think* the plugs are the same.
I just did...
I need to sort out the hatch rubbing on the rear awning support...don't really want to move the awning up on the mounts any more, so that one may get a piece of pipe insulation. I dig the pool noodles for rain support Might have to employ that...
I posted this in another forum but it belongs here as well:
copy/paste
Last weekend was the first test of rain water not pooling with the noodles. It rained all night off and on, even hailed at one point. In the middle of the night I was able...
I got a bad case of awning envy when on the Rubicon this year. Some guys in our group had Bush Company awnings and made my ezi-awn look like a tarp.
I came home and scoured the internet. Turns out there was a very gently used one in Seattle for...
@FIDO96 Did the same on mine- although I used a worm-drive hose clamp as it's all I had laying around. that locking collar is much cleaner. Ordered just now- thanks for the link!
If you've mushroomed the studs to the point you can't thread the studs on, you may be able to clean them up with a thread file or thread die.
Being that you already ordered replacements I’d get a stud remover and zip 'em out. Harbor freight...
For sure, let me know. I don't *need* it, as it's waaaaay nicer than the rest of my rusty old 40, but my hardtop is hardly worth trying to save. Miraculously all the doors are pretty decent on mine, so I could make something work...
In any...
Do you want a direct-fit bolt in shock, or are you willing to fabricate? That will dictate what your options are.
I have BP-51s and have been very happy. King also makes a direct-fit shock, albeit not triple bypass as mentioned. Dobinson's...
I also got around to installing my @Delta VS tailgate storage panel. I covered it in SeaDek foam and carpeted the inside with some light colored carpet so I can see what's in there. The SeaDek is pretty nice- just hoping Dave from Delta makes the...
I've had some troublesome rust on the rear hatch since I bought this thing. About a year ago, @lelandEOD and @RAYJON and I took a trip over the hill to see Aleksy and I bought I rust free hatch from him. It was mostly stripped of its guts, save...
Well somebody had to be the guinea pig....and over a year later here we go. Got a bad case of cool parts envy on the Rubicon with @lelandEOD and ordered my @Delta VS tailgate panel. Also ordered a sheet of SeaDek and gave it a go. Final...
Just installed mine. What a sweet solution to a simple problem. 10 minute install, and the windows zip up and down as fast as my 2025 Tundra. Got me thinking about my old MkIII Supra now....gotta see if it uses the same relay. @PIP Might be...
