Welcome

wtf is add coil

Coil springs with the leaf springs?
No no. You swap the leaf suspension system to a coil suspension system. So where there were leaf's there are now coils.

This post has been a long time coming... it's been a while I've lurked but not posted. The times they are a changin'

1) 1989 FJ62
2) CarolinaMike, aka Papa Bear
3) truck... think John Wayne in Big Jake: "dog..."
4) 306,700 m
5) Stock. Big plans though - anticipating an engine overhaul, new suspension, tires and front & rear bumpers, de-tint, interior lighting update and self-contained camp vehicle!
6) My DD, Camp crawler and kayak hauler. Spent a lot of time this summer cruising between NC and NJ.

Pic is kinda rough if I even do this right (Old timer with antique cell phone). This is truck in front of the huge snow pile if front of our local Harris Teeter this past winter here in sunny NC.
