The forecasts have been consistent with saturday afternoon clearing and sunday being gorgeous. The amount of rain up till that point is what keeps changing.

We're still going and staying saturday night. The rain that morning may just mean that we dont set up camp till the afternoon. If the group is able to use Area 51 that may be a plus since it doesnt seem to hold water and get sloppy like the other areas.

Julie bought some fancy looking rain boots and is intent on putting them to use lol.

Yeah Bart, area 51 will be open. The FJ group is staying down there.

Just listening to ktsa and the weather forecast is calling for clearing tomorrow afternoon and high around 68. I think it will be fine. Not gonna spoil it for me. The FJ group is also still camping Fri and sat.

Yes, that's what I heard too. I'm still planning on going and I'll play it by ear. The camping might get cut but playing in the rain is fun.

We should meet at the starbucks at 281 & stone oak/tpc pkwy.
Ok. I'll meet everyone at the 281 & Stone Oak Starbucks @ 8:00am. Sounds like it's actually gonna be perfect. Better a tad on the cool side than 85-90 degrees or HOTTER! I'll bring my truck and my windbreaker...

I'll meet you there at the Starbucks in my lifted black FJC, and a friend will be there as well (might beat me there) in his Jeep JK. We've both got 4' CB antennas off the back, so we're pretty easy to locate.

I'll call one of y'all when get to the park. We should be about an hour behind you.

Not sure what time we will get there but will be there for sure. Call me up at 210-378-7151 to let me know where you'll be at. Coming from Round Rock so were only like 40 miller away.

That's a lot of

Raining hard here in New Braunfels... and shows it raining in MF.... not going ... :(

We are at *$s. Where is everyone?

Were gonna head out in a few. The storm is right over us here but looks like it already passed Marble Falls and should be past us soon

We had fun..

Camping last night was great and we stayed plenty warm...even being on the ground due to the air mattress having a hole that wasnt in it last time it was used. The coyotes howling--and howling way too close for comfort--was the only thing that woke me up.

And for the next trip yall need to stop at Double Horn Brewing. Its across from Bluebonnet Cafe and has awesome brewed in house beer.

I had a good time. I would have stayed longer except my Cruiser was gonna turn into a Jeep.

I'm sure Kelly took a bunch of pictures, but I have a few...

So far my damage tally is a crushed left-rear bumper corner, crushed muffler, and a front alignment so far out that my steering wheel is no longer straight and I can actually see the wheels toed out.

Still had a blast though!
