I'm going to head out to the Badlands for this event... Thought maybe some of you peeps on here might be interested in going... Just thought i would put it out there and see if i get any feed back...

I will probably leave early Friday morning and head home sometime sunday afternoon...

Pete, Jim, Marty(if your truck is ready) or anybody else that is interested... I know Nick(zebrabeefj40) is going, along with a lot of others from the Hoosier Cruisers...

I'm takin' Marty's truck with me 'cause it will be done by then. Marty has "darkly penciled this in" on his calender. I'm planning on heading up Thursday and planning to stay for all three days of wheeling.

I have been strongly encouraging FJ40Jim to join in the fun. I might need a little more peer presure/help from the rest of you.

I did not realize you were the one working on Marty's truck...

yea Jim bring your butt on out have some fun... you can't race every weekend.. time to go slow for a change... You can drive the rabbit out and ride with me if you don't want to drive your 60 all the way out there...

I could possibly head out after work on thursday night, just kinda depends on how tired i am... I will need some detailed directions if i head out in the middle of the night, this will be my first time going to the Badlands...

It's a good 3+ hours to get there, especially if you are driving the 60.
Campground is easy to find index and I suppose you would just look for the Toyotas.
Someone's going to have to show me how to use all these gears in my 40. I've never owned anything with a crawl box.

yea my 60 with 4.88's can be slow going on the highway... I'm hoping to be able to tow the 60, if i can fix the miss in my suburban that i have been chasing since i bought it... But that is why it was so cheap...

Well i was really looking forward to going to this event and hanging out with all the crazy Hoosiers, but i just got the word last night that i am going to have to work that weekend. We got 2 banquets that equal about 500 people and the normal restaurant business... I will be thinking of you all while i am standing by my trusty 450* broiler..
