Can anybody help me install a MED Lift+Diff drop on a 100 series when i get it? save 600$ in laber. Ill pay you, or I have a Garmin GPS and some other stuff, like 3rd row seats... Thanks.

I will throw my name in the hat but as you may have read I may be busy for a couple of weeks. Where and When were you thinking?

TED do you really want to work on a 100 ?

marius.... thought bout that as well. do i really want to do this myself? plus i have no experience with lift kits.

as for when... when i get it ( couple weeks, next month possibly, not anytime in the next week though)
Where- my driveway, or wherever it might be best. Don't know if we need a lift, if so i can use Big10 Tires on Rosewell road. used their lift many times for random things. Tip em a 10 and you got the lift for the day!

Thanks kinze for a stepper upper. Finally somebody is willing to help out a mud member. ( that i know of)

Thanks

Might need the practice so I work on yours especially changing tires! :flipoff2: , besides, others have helped me enough so I can give a little back to the people.

haha marius ill be the test truck. ill tell you how far i drive before it falls apart

maybe.... ill keep my mouth shut. I dont want to spend 585 in labor either. but i do want the lift. 1013 for the lift and 1775 installed. Huge difference

didn't I take that pic? Beasley Bash 08. a great time!

true on the food on the table part. gotta respect the bussiness owners and there investments and risks in customizing landcruiser and yota. taking into account that 95% of the cruisers in america never reach there limits. nor get lifted and ARB'd.

Figured i could do it myself, save some money. Pay a mud member to help me out, so i have the pride and satisfaction of working on my truck, and not having to take it to a dealer or shop do get something simple fixed or tightened. Long term money savings, learn bout the truck, work on it= save you some labor money

Thanks again kinze. and this will probably gunna happen by christmas. Either in 2 weeks, or by Christmas. Gotta get that insurance check for the fenderbender (not my fualt) and pick up some stuff. Can't wiat

Marius--why don't you get in the hundy, drive down here to help install this lift. Then help me play musical diffs and have a little fun! We can rope in Twinkie and Eric and make a party of it.

by the way, no payments required. this is what its all about!

haha musical diffs. nice. Ill drive down there if youll help me. then we can go test it out!

Marius- not free next weekend, but would like to meet up and check out your ride. probably one of the baddest ones ive seen. what kind of rims do you have in your profile picture? kinda liking them.is your old skidplate pretty much shot?

kinze- ill see if i can pull that lift sooner. know anybody in GA thats got a lift for sale? can only find the springs. Which reminds me... Marius is selling his Med springs, read that it will give me rake, if i crank the t-bars upfront and level it out. how bad will my CV boots be leaking? In short terms will there be damage done quickly? drive 120 Miles a week roughly and its all at once too.

Here are some poser shots of my truck. I know its stock, trying to erase that look. Want a meaner/aggressiver look

Guys,
It sounds like you have researched this, but have not done such a lift install yourselves. I remember how tuff installing the lift kit on Jack Uys' Tacoma was so I am assuming that this would also be tuff due to the IFS. Therefore, 'renting' time on the vehicle lift at the tire shop for $10 sounds like a good investment, but it sort of sets a time limit (the OME lift would need to be installed in a day) due to the shop closing for the night. Are there any "subject matter experts" in the chapter on installing a OME (or similar) lift on a 100 series truck?

Maruis...You've got notin on me:flipoff2:
