Help with OME lift

Guys,
It sounds like you have researched this, but have not done such a lift install yourselves. I remember how tuff installing the lift kit on Jack Uys' Tacoma was so I am assuming that this would also be tuff due to the IFS. Therefore, 'renting' time on the vehicle lift at the tire shop for $10 sounds like a good investment, but it sort of sets a time limit (the OME lift would need to be installed in a day) due to the shop closing for the night. Are there any "subject matter experts" in the chapter on installing a OME (or similar) lift on a 100 series truck?

I installed mine on my FJ Cruiser in about 2 hours by myself...:hillbilly:

Ive taken time into effect. and if the shop closes. Its not like the lifts disapear. I'm sure they would let me lock the truck up. Kinda hard to steal a truck on a lift in the middle of the night. especially with no suspension or wheels :)

my truck looks better were you planning a back flip

Great then I am just being the worry wart in the crowd. It is good to hear that it is that easy now to lift an IFS truck. I will need to look more closely at the suspension under a 100 series and a FJ. It took me longer than that to do the FZJ80 and the 80 series is the easiest truck to install a lift under that I have yet encountered. So will the lift be install before Thanksgiving?

First...Marius, it's Canadia to you :flipoff2:

And second...Larry you're too funny :D I was just giving you a hard time...;p

I've installed about 3 or 4 OME lift on FJ Cruisers with some help!
I did mine in my garage with 2 jack stand and the factory jack from my FJ, it was fun and educational.

I don't know anything about a 100 series or any other truck than my FJC for that matter, so it would be fun to learn :bang:

Marius, are you gonna bring your truck to ATL and let us work on it too? :hillbilly:

I talked to Ted K this afternoon and is plan sounds good for is truck"s"... we could work on that too!:wrench:

Sylvain,
My tail gets pulled enough that I was appreciating the variety of your turn.

If it turns into a two truck adventure, can two lifts be rented?
