It is looking like I will be able to make this ride. As long as we don't try to drown the luxo pig again.:D I have some extra seats.

Looks like I and the wifey might be able to make this one, too. What's the meet time? We may have to split early for a dinner commitment, or at least may not be able to hang for the post-ride grillage... but we should be able to wheel!

Rausch

My piggy will be ready, and while either my daughter Jenna or grandson Justin might be with me I should have an empty seat. I am really looking forward to this outing, and the cookout is a big PLUS!!!!! Gary S

In for blues or less....

Gotta be on the road by 4:00 to head home, unfortunately.

Defiantely won't be wheeling this trip, just found a large section about 10-12" of my frame has rot right at the drivers rear spring hanger, next to the gas tank. Gotta drop the tank and patch it up, may pull the bed off and do it that way too. Yippee for me

Howdy guys,
Looks like I and my son might be able to join you guys with a buddy of mine from work and his son. I would like to stay on the high blue side if that's possible. I am more afraid of getting snagged like last time (on #1 if my memory servers me correctly).

Riad,
Good to hear from you... as always, you are welcome to join.

Riad- good to have you with our group. So you got into some trouble wheeling with John and his brother? Oh no, I hope Jeff ain't rubbing off too much on those young guys................Gary S

Gary,

Thanks! Yeah we had a lot of fun. I am sure Jeff has rubbed off a lot on those guys by now ;). I am looking forward to meeting you all.

gary i guess you've never wheeled with me...if anything, me and dom have influenced jeff to be more throttle happy:D

p.s...i really am a good, skilled driver, but i really like to put on a good show too(rev limiter's make me grin:grinpimp:)...just wait until dom's buggy is done:steer::bounce:

Ahhhh, for the record, the day Riad 'separated' his slee slider from his frame rail via a tall fin rock.. he just broke the ubolts (1 or 2).. but sparks did fly:grinpimp: and I did spot him ... but wasn't aware he didn't have a front locker:idea:

And as for throttle happy influences.. maybe you've met my friend Erik:lol::lol: wheel with him for ten years and there is no need for further influence:hillbilly:

I mean geezzzzzz, when else have you seen a pig on 38's hop:popcorn:

Get a front locker yet Riad?

Jeff,
I had the front locker installed by Lance couple weeks later of that incident. It's been pretty good so far.

After that I had the same thing happened to me at Crozet. Same kind of pointy rock at the same spot of the cross member. With 3 lockers on, I wasn't going any where. I had to jack the truck way up and then crawl out, because no one could pull/tug me with their (fully loaded) Jeeps. One guy that tried had simply spun his wheels with both lockers on. You get the idea, a Jeep trying to pull a snagged 80 :).

Anyway, which brings me to point out the fact, and that is, if Jeff didn't tug me that day with his piggy, I would have been in deep trouble.

Bustin' Jeff

Hell, Jeff knows I can't ever pass up a chance to dig him. I know he's a great wheeler and so are his cronies. He brings out the best )and worst!!!!) in me when I wheel with him. Even though I bust his balls all the time I'd drive behind him 'most anytime. (but not always...........) Gary S

Nice going Gary, I guess you pick on Jeff on regular basis, poor Jeff :D

So, little change of subject here. How are the trails these days at RC? Is it real muddy? Did you guys get a lot of snow/Rain there? It's been so long that I forget how the trails look like on East/West/South/north properties.
