Summer is FINALLY coming to a close and the boil your balls weather will soon be gone in favor of good wheeling weather.

Last meeting we talked about Hawk Pride - Any takers?

Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad - 1000 Acres of Off Road Fun in Tuscumbia, AL

We were talking Sept 23-25 -

$25 for 2 days wheeling plus $5 camping. Looks like the ride out there is about 4+ hours which is about Windrock distance. Pretty sure we already have a few interested.

That's too far out for me to be 100%, but it's going on my calendar. Looks like a cool park.

Why would I want to remember my wallet when I can eat for free on Ted's dime?:hillbilly:

You going to recruit any TN folks for this trip?

we plan these things far enough ahead that you have time to clear your schedule and put your wallet in your pocket. Maybe I'll remind your wife to do it for you. :moon:

TN folk don't like to play with me.

cuz you aint gotta wagon on 33s and they don't wanna hang with the big boys. In other words, Size does matter.

Either way, you guys get your sh!t in order and make it happen. We aint been wheeling since the we roasted our nuts at AOP back in June and I'll have disc brakes I wanna try out.

I'm not sure how to respond to that without getting called a terrible name.... Any way one says "I'll play with you" will inevitably end up with another descent into the black underwear abyss....

I need to get out, but all my junk is broke down, but that is the weekend of the Eagleville Fall festival and would be a good weekend for me to make myself scarce. Let me see what I can put together. Put me down as a maybe.

I guess you have too many teeth...

Probably not a good idea because she'll take all the money out of it before she sends me off.

I'll be looking at Motorhouses at the Worlds Largest RV show in Hershey Pennsylvania.

Any updates on this? I'm gonna have to really hustle to make this happen. I'm starting to think the 80 is falling the F apart and I'm financially drained. Regardless of this, I haven't really wheeled since my last Moab trip in March. Gotta scratch that itch...

so far the rough plan is to head out on Friday, I expect I'll try to get out of ATL no later than 10 or 11. From what I'm hearing everyone else looks like a mid afternoon departure.

I still hold my head high that one day some might join the fun and adventure wheelin with Ted.

One day oh yes one day.

Sweetness. If everything goes according to plan, and I don't find anything else wrong with my rig, I should be able to make it happen.

I find that if you quit looking for problems you wont find any. Meanwhile, Im on the hunt for 1 or 2 39" tars, gotta line of 2 not far from me now so might have to scramble to get 'em mounted.

I'm officially in. I've con'd a buddy into coming along as a passenger. Hope to get out of Athens by noon Friday. Damn it's a haul. How's the food selection near HP?
