1980,4x4,With stock frame and suspension except for Old Man Emu springs and aftermarket wheels and tires. Anti-inversion shackles with grease fittings In pins. Luggage rack, good body, solid floors, and heavy steel bumper and nice winch . I pulled the head liner out and was going to coat and paint. I drove all the time until I heard a rattling in valves in rear # 6 or 5 , missing. The speedometer cable came lose at the gage so it’s not working. Lights on dash are dim. Was going to finish this truck but got busy on other projects. Been garbage kept for years. I Never drove in snow. I just put outside under two tarps for the winter .
Asking $10,500. This price is firm . Will not trade . I want it gone because I’m putting another project...

The good:
1F runs great! Starts easy, idles smooth. (Full disclosure, I usually give it a squirt of ether when starting for the first time after sitting for a few months)
Believed to be a factory soft top (no soft top hardware left)

Rear has a spartan locker and Poser disk brakes installed (Calipers not on vehicle currently, but included)

1976 FJ40 for sale. Sad to let it go, but I have too many other projects and not enough time, so time to say goodbye. This is a great truck for someone who wants an FJ40 to drive around and off-road.

1975 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser I have owned since 2007. Previous owner painted the originally white cruiser Porsche Red. Shortly after purchase a 2F motor from an FJ60 with approximately 150k on the odometer was sourced and installed. The engine is Desmoged and runs well.

1975 FJ40 for trade for a 4WD Tacoma. This has been my daily driver for the last few years. It has a Chevy 327 V8 with new 4 barrel Quadrajet, ramshorn headers, two into one crossover exhaust. Saginaw power steering, front disc brake conversion, tuffy console, new seats, and Troll Hole soft-top that still has protective coverings on the top. The floors are in good condition. Original rear seats and rollbar. Someone replaced the rear tub section at some time so it's not all original, but this is a good daily driver. Non original turn signals (cause I like the way they look). Tires are in good condition with half wear left on them. Inside has been herculined and the frame and underneath is Por 15 coated. This isn't a trophy queen but...
**NEW PRICE****I’ve got another project that I’ve decided I won’t get to. It’s a nice Patina’d 40 with a cool decal still on it. Some rear sill rust and a corner dent but otherwise nice. I’ll post more pics soon. Need to blow up tires and roll it out. It’s got no motor. Only original 3spd/tcase. Had a 2F to put in it but it got sold.

Just finished this professional restoration, just about everything is new and works perfectly. 90% replaced with new OEM components, remainder original restored parts. Modifications jnclude: Chevy V8 350 fuel injected engine with Chevy 350 automatic transmission, dual exhaust. Everything else is 100% OEM old stock replacement or restored.
