Now that you've had this SPAL fan running for a year, and it's summer again, what do you think overall? Major difference for the A/C or marginal? Would you do anything different?

@Dissent
The fan works great. I notice it most when the engine is heat soaked and driving under 40 mph. At this point I am happy with the install. I wouldn't advise having to do anything differently.

Thank you. Does it maintain vent temps at low speeds as well as the ram air of freeway speeds?

Yes, but I have not used a thermometer to measure the exact temps. If I feel my AC lagging I turn the aux fan on and the temps definitely drop. My rig's AC has always struggled at low speeds. Regardless of fan clutch mods, radiator replacements, coolant types, etcetera. This mod seems to have fixed the problem. It has zero effect on engine temps. But, you probably already know that :clap:.

Great, that's what I was hoping. I'll have a parallel flow condenser in soon and will plan on incorporating the SPAL fan to push it over the edge! My clutch fan mod keeps the engine very cool but doesn't do squat for the A/C, especially in town and on the trail.
