1977 FJ40... asking $8800
Pretty clean and unmolested. Has some dings to the driver's side fender and door. But it's definitely a rust free southwest truck. A great truck to build from. Originally mustard yellow but re-sprayed the blue color at some point.
Factory disk brake front axle. Complete interior: seats, jump seats, center console, gas tank and tank cover, dash is intact and not too messed with. Missing the engine, but pretty much everything else is under the hood. Has (I assume to be original) 4 speed tranny and transfer case as well as drive shafts.
Windshield and door glass is good. Sorry, but no top. Also has the large aftermarket auxiliary gas tank under the back. Stock springs with some extended shackles.

I bought this in 1995/6 as a parts vehicle or project but other projects and life got in the way. I cut out any corrosion it has (mainly the usual place in the rear channel).
It has a very solid tub and I have a new rear channel from Cool Cruisers. I also have a spare new pair of fenders and sides/quarters, which were for another project.
I have a hard top and doors from a 1977 FJ40 (the fiberglass top will need a new channel (at least the rear part).
The front seats were stolen at some point (from a trim shop).
$10,000 or the best offer.

Originally Dune Beige. Previous owner (unfortunately) resprayed silver. Luckily they didnt do the engine bay or jams, so would be easy to revert to original color. Truck is pretty low rust. There is some rust under the rear doors. My plan was to buy the new stamped sheet metal and cut out the old and in with a new piece. I sent the truck to Profitt's Restoration when I purchased it, they installed OME lift, 33 inch tires, on custom FJ60 wheels, front and rear bumper, stereo, brand new transfer case, added power steering from an FJ60, and did a baseline on the truck. This vehicle went through a frame off restoration in 2017 including all new suspension, resealing transmission and transfer case, rebuilding the small block Chevy engine, adding FiTech fuel injection, adding power steering, new interior, new marine grade stereo. The body was taken down to bare metal, which exposed that there was virtually no rust on this vehicle that has been in the Southeastern US it's whole life. The interior was treated with Wurth undercoating and then the whole body was epoxy primed before going to paint. The color is Heath Gray, which is not the original color but it is an original FJ40 color option.
