The first two pics are how it looks now for summer. I have the hard top stored in my garage.
Specs:
New 350 crate motor (last pic) was installed in december. I am looking for the exact specs on the motor but it has scorpion roller rockers, comp cam push rods, scat crank, all clevite bearings, machined aluminum valve covers, edelbrock 2102 performer rv cam, polished performer intake, mild porting on GM heads, new edelbrock carb. It has now 2,000 miles on it. The truck overall has about 130k. I have used it as my daily driver for the last year and before that it was just my toy. I have a new baby and it's not practical right now. I need something with 4 doors and AC living in las vegas it gets hot.

I'm asking $8800.00 and I think after you look at the pictures, you'll see that is a fair price. If I don't get any hits here, I'll end up going to EB#y and try my luck there. Here is what I replaced when I got it:
Cosmetic: all the metal, with special attention to the rear quarter panels, sill and rear floor have been replaced. I replaced the fenders and all the light markers, hood hooks and name plates. I had the hood repaired from the hail damage that it sustained from the previous owner.

1972 FJ40 project - Price Drop $7950 to $3950. mostly finished. Excellent interior. This was my everyday car for about 2 years. I put it up on blocks to clean/paint the underside and engine compartment. Needs paint and a little body work.
Besides that, all that's left to do is finish putting it back together.
The engine is stock F. The engine just has the head resurfaced and compression in all 6 are good. New starter, new radiator, others. I've got over $8K in it, all the receipts.

I recently removed the drive train from a diesel BJ60 and have it on the floor ready to install into this FJ40. My price will include completion of engine and transmission swap. Looking to trade or buy FJ40 when Jeep sells.If newer than 1975 it has to be Ca.smog legal with little to no rust . I'm looking mainly for stock could have mild lift. Body must not be cut up. 1969 FJ40. Body in rough shape. Doors, hood, fenders, grill, windshield frame are in good shape but could use a tub. The 1F runs awesome and sounds really tight. Oil pressure reads good and system charges. Has new starter and tune-up parts. 4x4 works well, both the transfer case lever and FD lockup work well (indicator still works on the dash) Has an old style ramsey gear driven winch (the million pound bumpers come with!!!!!) I'm afraid to unbolt them. They look heavy! I am selling for a jeep friend. He is asking 2800.00. Has clear WA. title. If you want more pics. I can get them to you.
