I have a partially restored 1968 landcruiser with a 6cylinder and 3 speed trans. It has been in storage for about 10 years its time for it to find a new home. It runs and drives. I think the main thing it needs is a cluctch slave cylinder. I also have a 1962 parts landcruiser with no title. It has a six cylinder and 3 speed trans also. I also have another 3spd trans with transfer case. I have a hard top (needs work), 2 soft tops (needs work), 1 set of ambulance doors, and a bunch of other parts. For Sale - 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. I drove it everyday during the summer. 2f motor, 4 spd, 4x4, rear heater, original fold down seats in rear, 31-10.50-15 thornbirds, matching spare, 4 inch lift, runs great, non power steering but I have a complete unit that goes with sale, full steel doors, hard top, full rear doors, roll cage, clean title. Call for details. The steel tub needs replaced - has rust. Frame strong!

Selling my 73'. Purchased from Chris Wade a few years ago. He did not do the restoration on this. This was a full frame off restoration. It is in great shape with one area of rust on the tailgate (photo to come). It has an 82 2F engine, power steering and front disk breaks. I also found in Saudi a set of OEM fog lights that are not in the pic (photo to come). It is undercoated and runs excellent. The Pakistani top has a tear in the back window and needs the cloth bead repaired over the doors.

Bought this in March with 4 other rigs. It's time to go. Motor runs strong, looks sharp, Fresh Edelbrock carb and HEI. TH400 shifts crisply, runs smooth. Saginaw full power steering. Disc brakes from a 1976 FJ40 [needs new birfield seals. 22 gallon auxiliary tank. Roll bar, bucket seats, 2" lift with uncut wheelwells and 33" Yokohamas on 15x10 wagon wheels. Very clean original white paint.
There are 3 spots of rust on the truck. One of my cruiserhead buddies says I should cut out the rust and then sell this for a lot more money on Ebay, but I just don't have the patience to go down that road right now. Figured I'd give this a shot, then, if it doesn't work out, I'll put some time into it.
Drive it home. PLEASE!

1980 Toyota Landcruiser Diesel for sale. Aluminum tub and running boards. Tub has been sprayed with Rino. Rad recently re-cored. Exhaust recently replaced. Soft top. Body: It’s been repainted bluish purple or PLUM from the previous owner. It’s in very good shape for it’s age. It has some rust spots on the driver’s seat floor area, very repairable and nothing that’s stopped me from using it. The frame is solid..no rust and is a great platform.
Engine: Previous owner paid big money to a mechanic to swap in a 350 SBC that’s been stroked to a 383 using a 400 crank. It has 22-23K on the rebuild. Holly 4 barrel carb, Howe Aluminum radiator, and after market heater unit. Pump the pedal 3 times and start it…the motor is sweet and very, very reliable.
Tranny-Tcase: SM420 with the Granny 1st, then with a D300 with 4.1 Gearing in it. It is Twin Stick Setup.

I have been looking to purchase a FJ40/BJ40-3 for a few months now and have had no luck in finding the right one. I am looking for a rust free rig thats requires very little work. I am comfortable in engine work/tuning/etc but hate body work and rust repair (don't have any place to do it anyway). Willing to pay well for the right rig. The tub is in bad shape, but not so bad cowl forward. Frame is in amazing condition considering the body. Dash is in nice shape, pads too. F has not run in a few years. Have title, comes with a set really low mile Bridgestone Desert Duelers, and Toyota wheels. Will make great 40 for someone else, :frown:

I'm probably looking for something between 76-79... Barn doors, power steering and disc brakes would be nice, but I'd be just as happy in a '67 for the right price, too!!
I can't spend more than $4K, so I expect to put some elbow grease into it. :wrench: I don't expect good paint or nice upholstery. This will be our weekend monster.
If it's worth it, I'll make the trek to neighboring states!

I have a 1964 Toyota Landcruiser FJ 40 in good shape. This FJ is currently not running. The 6 cylinder is in it, but the three speed trans and transfer case are out of it. The three speed transmission is rebuilt and is converted to a floor shifter, but I also have the parts to put it back to column shift. It will need some parts such as taillights, bumpers, front seats, speedo head not the whole cluster just the mph head, and other small parts I'm sure that I'm forgetting. I have the pink slip and it is currently registered in my name. Thank you for your interest.
