1968 fj40, cool heritage, nice upgrades
Sadly we are selling our fj40. This cruiser has a great heritage, it was Kurt Williams' (of Cruiser Outfitters fame) first cruiser he built with his dad many moons ago. When it was Kurt's he converted it to a 4-speed on the floor and a rebuilt 2F. He also designed the awesome scalloped multi-color paint job :) Not sure how many miles since then, but it was 15 or more years ago. He sold it to a local kid who later sold it to a guy who took it to his farm in Idaho. Then Jim of portaltek axles bought it and brought it back to Utah. It probably sat about 5 years not running. I picked it up about 5 years ago and poured a lot of money into her to get her where she is today. All work since I've had it has been done at the Cruiser Barn by...

1981 Rust Free 5-Speed FJ40 - Texas
I have this truck on consignment. I sold it last year to the current owner. It lived it's life in New Mexico since new. The current owner has back issues and the FJ40 is just not the right vehicle for him. After talking with him yesterday we decided to reduce the price. There is a lot of value here. Hoping someone on the forum who wants a late model, rust free Land Cruiser can take advantage of it. The truck is in Texas. So I have come to the sad realization that I don’t use or drive this truck enough and would like to begin looking for a new home for it. Somewhere where someone will have time to spend with the rig, enjoy it and take it on new fun adventures. Where to start… Brief history: 1980 BJ41 (JDM). I bought it in 2009 in New Zeeland and spent a month touring the north and south islands with it. I shipped it back to my home town of Baltimore Ro-Ro and picked it up in Baltimore. It saw lite use there until I decided to take it to South America. In the summer of 2011 it was shipped to Boulder Colorado where my cousin (A Toyota rock crawling advocate and head of a machine shop) spent 3 months converting it to an overland expedition rig...

REDUCED 1974 FJ40 ORIGINAL in Idaho $6,000 obo
Selling 1974 original FJ40 with removable hard top. We want to sell it soon as we have home projects that we need to get done in this space this Summer. It has been stored under cover in our barn. It sat for about 7 years without use, then in 2010 we got it running in less than a day by putting in a new battery, spark plugs, and some carborator cleaner. We know the fuel lines and gas tank should be replaced, that may be all it takes. New baby, too little time to restore it, looking to give it a new home and put money into something more "family-friendly." I made a photobucket account with pictures of it where it is (currently in a bay blocked by a dog kennel). If you need more photos, I can pull it out. It is all original, was given...
I purchased this Toyota Land Cruiser from a restoration shop. This 72 was completed two years ago, has barely been driven since I purchased. Absolutely beautiful top-notch restoration. The truck was bought 99% rust free prior to the restoration. Asking $55,000.00 This truck was built to be daily driven, but it is a show quality piece. I have been told countless times it is the nicest FJ anyone has seen. I have seen them typically offered at RM Auctions or Gooding and selling for almost double what I am asking. Below is everything that was on the listing when I purchased it. MECHANICAL 1983 Australian spec inline 6 (2F) motor. Similar to the US 2F but without all the emissions stuff that needs to be plugged off. You get the old...
My loss is your gain. Bought this right after winter with intentions to drive it some and restore it. Well I got a 5 year apprenticeship at work and just don't have the time for it now. Here's the link that I have posted on my local craigslist with pictures. It's located in Appleton, WI and I'm asking $8000/obo. https://appleton.craigslist.org/cto/5118733547.html
