Well I have had these f's for years now and its time to move oon.I hate to get rid of all of my fJ stuff and if price isn't met then they will just stay in garage. The 79 is the one I used to drive and 4wheel and the other is mainly for parts. The 79 still runs but the body is pretty shot. I don't have the room skill or money to restore. It still has good title and the 80 has previous owners title so you might be able to straighten that out. The 79 is original blue and has all body panels including hard top, hard doors, and rear ambulance doors. Everything was working fine when I parked it. I had just put a set of mastercraft courser mt 33x12.5x15 on. That one also has the petronix ignition kit on it with a streetfire cdi box to do away...
Looking for a FJ40 daily driver. I have $8000 to spend. So if it needs a little work, that's fine. But I need to be able to get it to DD status for under or at my limit. No rust buckets. Doesn't need to be a beauty queen though. Other than that, I'm open to pretty much anything! Also interested in 60/62's. I'm located in San Antonio, TX. Willing to travel for the right deal!
Been looking for a while but haven't found the right one yet so I figured I put feelers out to see if anyone knows of one. Biggest thing for me is that it is original, rust free and running and driving. Would prefer a 1970 or newer. Thought about turning my 1969 into a soft top but would prefer to have and actual fst. Budget is $10k to $12k. Can be located anywhere. Thanks, Mike

1983 FJ40, Stock Except Wheels, 98k miles, w/all special 1983 parts original and included
Highly desired and rare, this vehicle would be great to plop a new tub and a used hardtop on as the underside and running gear are pretty tight and it seems to drive nice and reliable. Happy to discuss or show the vehicle. It is a two owner car, but technically on paper / carfax a three owner car because daughter titled after father, but she never drove it. Our friends family bought it for their mom to drive and she recently passed away. The truck has 98k original miles, and is largely all original except the wheels and tires and shocks. The vehicle is a cosmetic project but drives rather tight, does not leak fluids, does not burn oil, 4wd works excellent, so its a good project for someone because once done these things are worth...
'75 FJ40 All Original
1975 FJ40, 70K Original Miles. 2F Motor, 4 Speed, Runs & Drives Great. Completely stock except wheels & tires and Pertronix electronic ignition conversion. Original wheels will be included. Has 5 brand new Firestone Destination A/Ts, new clutch master cylinder, new brake master cylinder. Original front and rear jump seats, ambulance doors, auxiliary rear heater, factory roll bar. Some rust in the usual areas, but not as bad as most. Suspension, steering and drivetrain are incredibly tight still. Perfect candidate for a full restoration. What it needs: New headliner (previous owner removed it). Instrumentation glass (I accidentally broke it fixing the dash lights). Could use a lift kit (bigger rear tires will occasionally rub)
1962 FJ40 FST in Kerrville, TX
VIN: 2FJ40 15402 $3500 This is a project I don't have time to do justice. The tub is fairly solid, but has several drilled holes in it. Matching numbers. It is missing the original turn signals, column shift, soft top, and seats but does have the stamped bezel and drop down tailgate/chains. (I have the horns, windshield wiper motors, and a few other bits that are not in the picture, but are included in the sale). It was originally sold in Wyoming. I had to relinquish the Wyoming title to get the current Texas title, but I made a color scan of it. The original owner sold it to a man who moved to Fredericksburg, TX. When he passed away, the daughter inherited it. It sat in their peach orchard for 12 years before I bought it...
1979 2f motor
I was taking a couple of 80's to get some head work done at my local shop and the owner asked me if I knew if anyone would be interested. The motor was rebuild couple of years ago and left by the previous owner. Here are a few pics. The shop owner was asking 1700 that is what he has in parts and labor but he is open to offers. Let me know and I'll get you in touch with the shop and the owner. It's located in Columbia MO

1978 FJ40
Here is the story, putting it out here for a week then posting to all the outlets. WOW WOW WOW what a great cruiser this is. The greatest thing is this is truly all original and everything is complete and working. I have owned it for 18 months, my first cruiser and have the bug now. Bought another so need to make room. I drive this one several times a week around town, my daughter learned to drive and my wife drives it. Had it at the deer lease last year in the Palo Duro Canyon. 4 wheel drive works great, guys called it the billy goat. I know it spent a lot of time in San Antonio prior to my owning it and I believe some time down on the coast which would account for some of the rust. I bought it from a dentist in Southlake...
