So we are at the moment in Alaska with our diesel pusher towing a enclosed trailer with pretty much everything but the kitchen sink in it and my wife is following me with my Ram 3/4 ton . This winter we want to go to Baja and travel with a lot less then we have with us now and ditch the trailer and tow a suv behind the rv . Everyone seems to be getting a Heep for this but I have seen the occasional GX behind rv’s . Can anyone tell me if I need to search for a GX with particular option package to do this or can any GX add the tow bar setup and be ready ? Any tips or tricks from GX owners that have some hands on experience ?
Lastly if you plan to sell your GX with a toad setup let me know please , good thing is that we won’t be needing it untill late fall so if this is planned to be your last season or you know someone that is planning on selling theirs let me know .
