1978-ish (hybrid: wheeler/retro tribute) FJ40 (NY)
This is an initial posting of my FJ40. I may sell it as-is, or I may put the final push on to "finish" it. Either way the price will be appropriate to it's condition at the time... I will decide based on response I get here and other factors. I have owned this truck for 10 years or so - well, at least I have owned the frame/title for 10 years... most of the rest of the truck has come to me since that initial purchase. I built this to look like an older 40 (split hood, older style doors, bib with parking lights, round fender turn signals, one-piece tailgate, windshield with top wipers, OEM FST bows and top) but with the "modern" underpinnings of a '78 cruiser. (Down below is a list of what has been done, added, modified etc.) I have...
The time has come:( Up for sale is an amazingly capable representative of the Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 series. Unfortunately, & thanks to JAMES at Cruiserparts.net, who sold me a used fuel pump filled with old, s***ty fuel which then went on to seize my, perfectly running engine. I have a line on a good running power plant (stock.) Or this could be the perfect opportunity to perform a V8 conversion, which I have considered. It is far from stock, so look elsewhere if that's what you want. I've garage owned this 40 since 1999 and continually looked to improve capability and function. High lights, upgrades and modifications include: Aluminum 4 core radiator Mean green starter New water pump Up and Over roll cage Spray on interior...

1981 FJ40 Red Soft Top $37900 "Raquel" SOLD
Truck shipped from Colombia after 2 month overhaul of a very nice truck. Truck is in container now inbound to Tampa, FL. Volcan 4x4, LLC is the seller and a bonded Florida car dealer. This is my personal favorite out of a dozen FJs but have to sell it. Just something about it. Engine purrs like a sewing machine. We believe 3 owners and 165,000 miles. Truck I believe is an original Soft Top spec with the original soft top bars. Has original Nippodenso AC unit and controls. Has recharge blows cold. Body wise very straight body lines with original Toyota turn signals. Truck may have had some repairs in the front floors and rear sill but we did not repaint the truck only repainted some touch up. Extremely clean underneath. This is a...
Clean 1974 FJ40 with Chev 283 Motor SO CAL USA
For Sale is my 1974 FJ40 Toyota LandCruiser. Cruiser came from central Idaho 2 years ago from a gentleman who was in my Father in Laws wooden boat club. The motor had been converted to a strong running Chevy 283. The transmission is the original stock 4 speed transmission. Disc Brakes up front. Power Steering. All lights, signals, and switches work as they should. I have Plasti-Dipped the wheels black. I have the original jump seat frames, the original spare tire carrier, an auxiliary fuel tank for which wiring is already in place. I removed the spare tank to clean. The previous owner from Idaho did some work to repair what he said were small spots of rust in the back corners. Upon a pretty detailed inspection I believe he did...

Not My FJ. 1971 Project FJ40 in LA
I saw this listing on craigslist and thought someone closer should snag it. The truck looks very solid, needs a hood, engine, and transmission. It is only 4,000.00 and has a factory pto winch. I also noticed in the 7th photo that another light blue fj40 is in the background. It might be worth taking a look at it just to see what else they have laying around. Here are a few photos. 1971 toyota land cruiser
