OP didn't mention what type of bows are currently on the cruiser. Plenty of old Kayline and Best Tops at there. Believe out of country tops are made to fit OEM style now with hard doors on the side.
@RevISK is there enough slack in the tops coming out of Colombia to work with FST doors. They do not angle in at the back like hard door do?

I’m not quite clear on your question, do you mean how the hard doors taper inward on the upper section?

The top of the B pillar is narrower with hard door than FST doors delivered to US market. Most markets had hard doors. Since FST are completely straight the distance at the B pillar is wider. Do you have any experience with this? Not many original soft top models with the original doors around.

Ah, I see. I can take a couple measurements and photos of mine to show that portion.
I do not have any experience with FSTs though.
Virtually all replica bows, and tops made to fit them, are straight on the b-pillar (early or soft doors). When canvas, it isn’t really an issue as the canvas shrinks to fit if you have late model bows. Anything that is synthetic & doesn’t shrink, will be a tiny bit loose at the top on the main bow (b pillar) if you have late model bows & an early top. In practice, I don’t think k it matters a ton….
I guess I’ll add, my canvas tops would fit all bows, due to the shrink to fit manner of canvas. But my premium tops has zero stretch, and were built really tight. So a late model top couldn’t fit on early bows. You needed an early model top for that. But an early model top would fit late bows, with a just a bit of looseness as those corners. I’m assuming that’s true of all modern tops now, since they don’t really stretch like canvas.
What are you calling "early"?
The change has to do with the front doors. Early, if I recall correctly, is 74 & prior in the USA , when the front doors & OEM soft doors weee completely flat. After that, the later door bend inward just a bit, basically at the window line.

My truck is a 1982 soft top from South America and it has hospital/split doors on the back. I like roll up windows on the side but the rear green above is different from mine and wouldn't be right. Pls DM me with some photos of what you can do and pricing?

You have a factory soft top with hard doors on the side. Then ambulance doors on the back that the top is vinyl and removable? Communication of all the details of your tol is helpful to both you and the seller.

Yes, that is exactly right, i will take a few photos shortly and post them, apologies for not doing that yet... factory soft top with hard doors on the sides, vinyl and amb doors on back
