1960 FJ25
My late father used to go around the USA & collect these old cruisers. We live in South Africa & it’s not viable for us to bring it over. The farm that it’s standing on, is no longer willing to keep it there for us. I would love to keep it but it just doesn’t make sense. Attaching pics. It’s standing in Battle Ground, WA. I would appreciate if it could end up in someone’s hands who appreciate these beauts and make good use of it. As long as you can fetch it, it’s yours.

Roanoke, VA: 1970 FJ40
Putting my 1970 FJ40 up for sale. Body was recently disassembled and stripped to bare metal for any needed rust repair and prevention. Passenger and driver floor pans were replaced along with the transfer case cover. Interior was bedlined. Disc brake conversion on front. New rain gutter installed and relined the roof with a grey felt liner. New lock cylinders for the doors. There have been modifications from previous owners, so this is not 100% stock. (example later model bucket seats instead of the split bench) Has the Inline 6 motor with a 4 speed transmission. Runs, shifts and drives nicely. Frame is clean. $35000
Not sure how to delete this ad. I'll be posting for sale again next year around spring This one isn't for the purist!!! Don't come for me, please!! 😂😂 Bezel is thick side up, and it does retain its 1F, not a chevy motor. It does have a SM420 from a 1960 chevy pickup, aftermarket seats, roll cage and blacked out accents like the grill, emblems and such, though. - I am the 3rd owner, purchased it from the original owners' nephew in 2009. Over the 5 years, nearly everything on it has been rebuilt, replaced and/or upgraded, from the engine to the blinkers! - Engine rebuild and install was done by Marc Racob of Racob's Automotive in Merced, CA (master Toyota technician for 30+ years) - A lot of the remaining work was done at Valley...
Eastern NC, 1981 BJ41
1981 BJ41, imported myself from Japan in 2022. Everything original except for hood (replaced due to rust), radiator(have original still), and rims/tires. Heater core was leaking so that's capped (new replacement on hand) and rear seats heater blower disconnected. Fires up great cold. Minor rust spots as seen in the typical areas, but minor for a 43yr old vehicle. Not in love with the vehicle, but not desperate to sell it. Just throwing it up in case someone is in the market. 196,000km (122k ish miles), located in Eastern NC. DM for more pics or questions. Starting out $35k OBO. If I'm way off on that price, feel free to help educate me.

Houston: 1981 Land Cruiser BJ40 For Sale. $18k
Selling my 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 (diesel). Engine was upgraded at some point to the 3B (slightly more power). Odometer was stuck at 311k kilometers when I purchased in March 2022 - unsure if accurate or not. It runs and drives, has current inspection, but definitely has some quirks and could use work. It's been a fun weekend/neighborhood cruiser and will still go 60-70 on the highway. A true head turner wherever I'm at. Asking $18k. Please see link for Facebook Marketplace listing.

Florida: 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Factory Soft Top
Okay. I am now serious about actually selling this truck. This 1972 FJ40 is a US spec truck and is a Factory Soft Top (FST) model. The truck is absolutely gorgeous with zero issues. Within the last couple of years, this truck experienced a complete body off frame restoration at a cost substantially beyond what I am asking for the truck. I do not believe you will find a nicer 40 series available. The truck is an absolute dream to drive. Here is a short rundown of the features: Completely rebuilt 2F from OLC4x4 with OEM Toyota parts Complete body off frame repaint in Pueblo Brown 4 speed transmission rebuilt by Valley Hybrids Brand new split transfer case OEM 4-wheel disc brakes FJ Company wheels Custom front bumper and winch mount from...
Quinton, Virginia. 1978 FJ 40 9/78 production date.
1978 FJ-40, I have owned this since 1995. 115k miles, runs very good, everything works. It has a current VA inspection and has been kept in my garage for the last 25 years. I drive it several times weekly as it is my fishing truck. I am reluctantly selling as my FJ 45 project is nearing completion and I will not have any room to keep both of them. Pros: OME Dakar suspension and steering stabilizer. ( 2 inch) Solid frame ( pictures attached) Low mileage 33x12.50 BFG A/T’s Mini truck power steering ( IPOR), with rebuilt Center arm. Electrical system rework with new fuse box, headlights, and turn signals and tail lights. Rebuilt rear axle, brakes with OEM master cylinder, Jim Chenowyth carb and man-a-fre header. Rear bumper and...
Traverse City, Mi 1977 FJ-40
I've owned this vehicle since 2017 and it is garage kept plus put away from October to May each year to avoid snow & ice melt products, the previous owner used the vehicle at a camp where it was also stored.. The de-smogged 2F engine & drivetrain is in very good condition along with steering & brakes work well on/off road. Suspension was upgraded previously using Confer products. Vehicle interior is in very nice condition with no rips or damaged upholstery. Except for the odometer all dash switches and instruments function correctly, last odometer mileage is 69,900. Vehicle exterior is in very good condition with no rust through or impact damage. Paint is original color but appears to have been redone on part of drivers side. or needs...
1969, Utah. No affiliation
1969 fj40 5k. Not mine. JC "Picked this up a while ago with intentions of getting things repaired and drivable. Unfortunately other commitments have taken my time. A lot of original parts, including all seats besides the driver in great condition. Original 1F engine. The time I did spend we got the engine to crank but never fire. Believe it needs a distributor etc to get it going. Will roll on the 4 tires, can get it onto a trailer. Rust as you would expect for a 1969 FJ40 Would be a great project to get up and going, hate to see it go!"
Denver, CO 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
Hello All - My '73 FJ40 is for sale in Denver! $26,500. I've been lurking and benefiting from everyone's knowledge for a few years - the forums have been so incredibly helpful both while I was gearing up to buy and after I took home my (literal) barn-find from Durango, Colorado in 2021. A huge 'Thank You' to those of you who contribute so much time and knowledge and personal experiences to make others' experiences easier. Still, what I know about Land Cruisers couldn't fill a thimble compared to everyone else on here. I never really had any wisdom to offer so this is my first post. I pretty casually tried to sell last spring (I wasn't very committed), then decided to enjoy it for a few more months and took the top off for the...
Philly, PA 1972 FJ40 Project with all the goodies $5500 or trade
Selling my project vehicle sonce I am moving. This is a 1972 FJ40. The 3/4 tub is from CA and though it had plenty of dents very little rust. Other odds and ends are included such as epoxy primer and such to start the restoration. I am asking $5500 OBO, but would definitely trade for a 1st gen 4Runner or mini truck of the same era.
1980 FJ43
Hello, Just wanting to get some ideas on listing prices for this 1980 FJ. I will have it in my possession soon once it arrives from overseas. I have been told as high as $100K, but wanted to get some feedback from the community. Mileage shows less than 1,700 Kilometers. The seats are literally brand new and wrapped in protective paper. Also, where should I list it? Your feedback is much appreciated.
