5K-Mile 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
This is a project FJ40, how ever all the hard work has been done. I started to do a full frame off and just haven't had the time to finish it. What's done so far
Engine - all machine work done, chemical dipped and maged to check for cracks (20 over) with brand new pistons and rings
Crank - balanced and polished
Cam - balanced and polished
Updated 2F motor from a 86 FJ60. Still have original motor as well
All other parts have been blasted and repainted
The body is straight with just one spot of rust on the rear quarter panel. Previous owner destroyed the dash and will need to be replaced or redone. I’m guessing that he was going with aftermarket.
The frame has been fully blasted and repainted.
Axles have been blasted and...
Just wanted to share this one. Has been repainted a wierd green but interior gives away original mustard yellow color. Looks like original front and jump seats. 2f missing original carb and such, but looks like pretty solid body. For the money, it looks like a pretty good buy.

1980 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. Sky Blue. AC. Engine great! FJ40 Drives but needs alignment before road use. New Parts included, all ball joints installed, Included new parts: OEM Brakes, control arms, shocks, brakes and pro axel rebuild kit. to be installed. and You can drive it daily or finish restore with New Decals and logos included. Some rust on rear and floor boards but restroration sheet metal available online! Add tires and rims and you've got a sweet 1980! @ $19,500. FIRM. No regrets! If you can find a better deal for the same condition and year. I'll beat it.

1970 FJ40...PACKAGE DEAL
One has a small block and is supposedly running. The other has a small block that is not hooked up. Both look like they need some work.
1971 Fj40 clean title.
Motor is junk. Giant hole in the block and pan. Looks like it blew up.
Tub is decent. Some poor metal patch work but it’s the rear sill, rockers, and quarters.
Frame is nice. Has hole from power steering install. Gearbox it there. Frame looks good. I’ll add frame pics tomorrow. Underside of tub is in good shape. Looks like a three speed floor shift swap. Still has the FD cable and all the odd ball stuff that came on the 1971’s. Drivelines, etc all there.

I've been restoring a handful of old school fjs (40, 43, 60) alongside the restoration of my personal HZ75 build here in Colombia. I got this one about a year ago as a perfect shell fresh out of frame-off paint job (both chassis and body were sandblasted and painted). I'll be importing it with my other rigs to Texas and happy to coordinate with a new buyer anywhere outside of California. This is a super clean rig, but obviously not a full-on resto so not sure what it's worth. Open to offers!
I have since done the following work:
Mechanical
-Top end rebuild (all new seals, new pistons, machined block, etc.)
-H55F tranny swap
-New Carburetor
-New Japanese radiator and coolant lines
-New power steering pump
-New brake pump...

Great project car minor surface rust no rot. California 40 it’s whole life . Just installed new fuel tank and all new fuel lines. F2 in-line 6 with a three speed on the floor and a 2 barrel Webber .it needs interior it has the original drivers seat and back folding seats but need reupholstered and repaired . No passengers seat but do have the seat bottem frame . Asking 9000 or best offer I need it gone looking to start a new project .
