this is the "camper special" I picked up a few years ago. no engine or trans. cab is mostly solid, some rust on the driver rocker, bed that is currently on it has some issues, large rust hole in the center and the wheel wells have been cut. I have an extra good bed that can be installed instead. The frame is solid. Windshield is cracked. I have the passenger seat. The tires and wheels have been changed.

Is the gas tank relocated under the bed--looks like a fuel filler neck behind the driver.
Is there a title with the truck, that matches the frame stamping?
Only one tailgate for the two bed choices?

You need to keep the 4X4 emblem on the tailgate from the current bed. Someone should be able to get them made using that and one of the stickers for a pattern. If you end up selling it with the second bed I would be interested in the tail lights off the first one. Is the license plate lens still in there? Another item that could be reproduced. Seem MT and the surrrounding area got more than their share of these pickups. GLWS.

2 tailgates only 1 headache rack, it has an extra fuel tank under the bed, homemade unit.
only 1 set of taillights.
I'll double check the title, but I remember it being correct to the truck.

this was all done by the PO! if you want some different shots let me know. The floor boards are solid, just dirty.
If the need is there, I know where I can find an unmolested replacement dash front.

the guy couldn't figure out how to get the edic to work properly, so he used the bike brake lever to shut the 3B off. it did work tho.

The PO to yourself needs to be drawn and quartered for the heinous act of butchery to the dash. As stated previously, it is all fixable - but don't do the deed to start with!

Looks like a great project. Now if I can convince the wife it would be a good project in my garage

Those rear faded lenses will polish right up......they look pretty solid......wish I could..would love to have a longbed again.

Just the kind of project I lust over: a 45 truck that has been hacked enough that I would not feel guilty about putting a diesel into. Seriously my dream. However after recently getting a BJ41 and BJ70 while still having my HZJ77 and FJ40 which seem to be all projects in the making I really don't have room for this too. Good luck with the sale!

Not to hijack, but I didn't know there was any issue with the repro stickers not being correct. I still have an NOS emblem in a Toyota bag if need be...FOR MEASUREMENTS ONLY, NOT FOR SALE!
