After many years and many unsuccessful attempts, today I succeeded in starting a fire with a fire bow. Equipped with the right set up it required less then 3 minutes. And I feel much better.

Good eye...it was one of those what ever it take goals. Previous attempts have been mostly alcohol related. Then I one night while studying Frank Zappa and I came across this quote from him "Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible". It gave me the inspiration to change techniques or maybe it was the mushrooms. Anyway the fire made me happy and real happiness is shared.

Good deal, I didn't know he was getting into show biz! Drama with Phil should be a hit! The first episode: Phil attempts to demonstrate making fire with a kit of stick. He's spinning well looks promising, oh no look like he's had a heart attack. In the next segment we will attempt to shock restart his heart using the piezo igniter from his lighter.
