Shipping weight of a 60 series transmission, the H42 (1 Viewer)

There is some misinformation on the board about the weight of this particular transmission. For those looking for this info....here is what I now know.

I just shipped an H42 from an 84 FJ60. It was packed in a large rubbermaid container, with styrofoam and some cardboard. The oil was drained. The transmission did not include the split case (obviously) or the spacer. Two cross member mounts, and the stickshift were included.

Total shipping weight was 132 pounds.

Most excellent!! I am trying to sell my h42 and ship it. Less than 150 lbs means I don't have to use freight. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! By the way, thanks for sharing.
