We had some high winds yesterday, after a lot of rain. Had a oak tree that was about 18 inches in diameter fall right down the middle of my 60. Taco'ed the roof from the rear to about 5 inches from the windshield. Only busted the hatch glass. but looking at all the damage I don't really think i am going to be able to fix it. It actually bent the L/S rear pillar inward about 8 inches and the R/S inward about 4 inches. Question I have is, anyone chopped the roof off? Was thinking about cutting it off all the way up to about 4 inches behind the wind shield, installing roll bars and making a soft top for it. Anyone have any pics of a 60 done like that?

going to start stripping it out this weekend and start cutting. Thanks for the links Cruisin. Gave me some ideas on the roll bars
