Ok, let me set the stage. Its june 2002, my wife, who at the time is 7 months pregnent, is less than a mile from the house. Some idiot in a 85 caprice classic decides to pass on the left, my wife crest the top of a hill in time to see this idiot who was doing 55 in a 25. She cranks the wheel to the right tring to get off the road and he hits her at about a 45 deg angle. She's was fine and the baby had no issues. The damage was pritty good. The jaws of life didn't help either.

Good to hear the family is OK, and good to see a cruiser come back to life.
 
a testimate to the quality constuction of these rigs. glad your family is okay. congrats on the repair.
 
WOW 5x glad the Mom and baby are ok .... and I would made that into a trail rig good job bringin it back to life for real :eek:
 
i plan on turning it into an expedition rig in the near future
 
i have all the exterior trim pieces, i do need to get some interior trim ( around the drivers and drivers side passenger doors, and the piece that goes on the bottom half of the b-pillar.
 
I imagine that rig will be part of your family for a while. Good job on bringing it back. We can tell by the damage that you repaired that you are a cruiserhead!:cheers:
