Here are a few pictures of our first LandCruiser roll cage. We built it in my '90 FJ62 using 1-3/4" .120" wall DOM tubing. The pilars are bolted to the floor using 3/16" plates sandwiching the body on either side. Each pilar utilizes a slip joint at the base to allow final weld inside the vehicle. Let me know what you guys think!

Looks sweet. I sure could have used one of those not too long ago. I'd like to make one of those someday. Really nice work.

That's impressive. It looks like it would hardly obstruct the driver and passengers. The grap handles are a nice touch too - maybe keep some people from losing fingers.

So, is the next phase "testing"? I guess you'll post again if you survive that phase.

Nice work.

Love the tape roll on the transfer lever. Just like mine!!

That looks fantastic! I love how the bar curves with the A pillar of the truck.

How much?

As I am not yet a red star member I can't get into any of the details about cost and availability. I don't want to step on anybody's toes here. At this stage in the game we are simply looking for feedback. What would you guys like to see in a weld together roll cage kit?

The only thing i ever heard negitive about the way the floor plates are done is it creates a perfect shear point to tear the body in a event of a roll over, just what i heard, as anyone else heard of this?

I think your roll cage looks SICK and I would love to chop my top, add the cage and a soft top and spend my summer cruising the backroads of the PNW!

Looks pretty nice .. and the A pilars are awesome .. great clearance. just see that you don't use a bar from pilar A to the other pilar A down the dash.

x2 If you can keep from using a dash bar from A pillar to A pillar structurally, I rather have the dash open also. I really like it!
