So I finally got around to installing a winch in my bull bar yesterday. I have not yet wired it, but plan to put the controller under the hood. I had to cut the valance to clear the winch. I removed a piece from the center about the size of a license plate. If one wanted to take the time, you probably could cut the valance is such a way to keep the very bottom part, keeping it in one piece. Depending on winch model.

I hope these pics help those thinking about a SafriGuard Bumper.

looks good.

do you have any shots from a little further back to see what the whole thing looks like on the truck?

I caught a "sale" last spring. Normal price is $750 plus shipping ($165 in my case)

If you choose to add the recovery points $125 each. They use a 360 degree swivel hoist ring set up. Nice but pricey.
