did you remove this clip?

once thats off and allow some pb blaster to soak in it for a time....twist back and forth and pull to the back to get the shaft out...it may be hard to get to twist...as its held in by rust at this point :)

 sorry guys .

i forgot about this post
i was asking it for a friend .he took the piece home put it back on his truck
and has working wipers for now.the piece is going to be garbage
we did get it lubed and rotating freely :grinpimp:

i did get the clip off.
and was able to move the shaft in and out a bit .
but i had to use a sledge hammer :frown:
it started to screw up the threads ,that outer tube is soft.
everything was bending. it was seized .
but i'm pretty sure if you had a better piece to start with they should be serviceable. i will try to service mine next time i have my truck out of storage.
i looked at 3 different wiper arm posts and they all seemed to wear out and
get off center in the mounting shaft all where garbage.
i have one nice one that i gave to him that i should of tried to pull apart .
but i didn't .oh well

Well? Don't leave us hanging! :D
