Canvas Paki Top on my camping rig

After hunting parts almost a year,slow on $...got first the bows from a local friend, then got an used canvas paki top from a mud member..then buy from OCD parts for replace the zippers,straps<very very nice. After cleaning and painting the bows,waiting for a co-worker to sew the zippers, i replace the straps following OCD note on how to do it .(Thursday night)

Yesterday after work,decide to start on the change..

Using the search option for many time,reading on the problems that i can found , its happen here also, the canvas top was soo many months out a cruiser that i will be "short on the sides. so i decide to work today in the morning on a very nice hot sun but its warm the top, i dont stretched pulling down the straps,just using the hands to move the canvas slowly down on each side to mark where the twist lock will be, cos i dont see any oem holes on the sides. also on the windshield theres no nut on place for the channel,so i have to use the old small holes from the other top..

I like your work light on your rear rack. Do you use it as a work light or does it come on when in reverse ?

Thanks for read..i use it for reverse-work light with its own relay,its a Hella Matador that came buit in a switch( at the back of the light) ,swivel base and up or down motion..i like a lot and do the job right

Johnny i almost post a few ? on how to clean the clear plastic windows but i found all my answer on your Canvas top review below your signature...we have to read more before post new-old answer cos almost All the answers are in the FAQ...

JIm its a very nice guy,he send me instruction on how to put the new straps...outstanding service even when he dont built the top

On the tailgate i have to loose the straps ,theres no way i can opened from the inside cos my rear seat-tool box

clear windows AGAIN

THis morning reading here on mud about a few canvas topics, Voyager said he use Plexus for clean his plastic windows..I google it and in a few minutes found a Cycle STore that have it local.. for $16.99 i give a try on my old faded Paki top...what a on this product....
