Some things have come up with my house that will need some money sooner rather than later. So I have decided to sell my 1998 100 series Landcruiser. I've only had it for a few months and the previous owner about the same prior to purchasing it from the original owners. This rig is in very good to excellent condition, with only minor blemishes interior and exterior. The leather is in good shape and all of the interior plastic still looks nice. This truck still runs and drives like a new car and it is obvious that is was built in Japan. It comes fully loaded with leather heated seats, automatic climate control, power drivers/passengers seats, sunroof, electric vent windows in cargo, cruise, power locks/windows,factory tow hitch, etc.... It also has the rear electronic locking differential which is in good working order. It currently has 191k miles.

I'd prefer to sell for cash but would entertain trades of a stock Toyota Tacoma 4x4 plus cash or a built Tacoma. Possibly a built 4Runner as well and I'd also be interested in a small fishing boat plus cash.
$8500

Truck is located in Olympia, WA

anything wrong with it? do you have maintenance records? thx!
Yes, the radio does not work and I have no idea why. The PO told me it was a takeout from another truck that got a new radio at the dealership he worked at and was not hooked up/just there to fill the hole while he figured out what he wanted in the way of a sound system. The power antenna is currently non-functional, I have not investigated.
->Two of the upper radiator hoses were replaced with generic hoses and one of them weeps a very small amount of radiator fluid. It does not leak enough to cause a full radiator to drop measurably in 1 week/700+ miles of driving so I haven't even gotten new hose clamps and tried tightening them up as a temp fix before factory hoses. This does make me suspect that the timing belt has been done a second time.
->No maintenance records beyond the first timing belt change sticker.

As of this instant the truck doesn't need anything. In 2000 miles or a couple weeks it will need an oil change. In 10,000 miles it will need a 90k service.

At what mileage was the timing belt done? Tia

Well since I can't figure out how to edit my thread....

The $8500 is definitely or best offer! I'd also maybe be interested in an '80 with a few mods as well.

if you are up for a 2500 mile road trip I have a 94 80. 2.5" OME 33s ARB winch. the usual. 240k. I can include a pair of locked axles.

Wrong coast, otherwise I'd buy it. There's a hundy for sale in my neck of the woods for 7k... It has 340k miles!!!!

Good Luck

Interested... but need to sell my truck first!

At least you speak english, so that gives you a leg up on most of the activity I've been getting! The scams on craigslist are getting increasingly sophisticated, they've actually got numbers in the proper area code now. But there's always a problem with meeting and, 'Can you take a cheque with a $500 bonus for your trouble and drop it off at my shipping agent?' This latest experience is probably going to cure me of buying and selling random s***.

If you're interested in this jump on it, a buddy of mine has a damn nice '80 I'm probably going to trade for.

Yep, CL is ridiculous... I have a few ads posted and 9 out of 10 are spammers or idiots who waste your time.

If I were in a position to buy right now, I'd be booking my flight up your way with cash in hand and plans for a roadtrip back home!

I really need to sell my truck first... and it's not getting much action. :frown:

Your ad states you need the money hence the sale, but now you're wanting to trade it?
