Seeing if anyone is interested in doing a run through the kofa wildlife refuge in possibly Feb, March, or april? Plan for 2 nights but can be done in 2 days( 1 night.)
It's not extreme by any means just long. It will take you past ghost towns, mining towns and old grave yards. Through desert canyons and old homesteads.
Anyone interested?

sounds killer.
you say "run" , I imagine sitting and driving....just to be clear, you aren't actually jogging that...

I mean, I know people who do that sort of thing, crazy..insane people, but I wanted to be clear of my intentions of NOT RUNNING.

I might be in depending on my medical (or should I say mental) condition.

Is that the run that weaves next to the bombing range?
Yes and no. There's one that gos through the Barry m Goldwater range. That's El Camino del diablo which the conquistadors made back in the 1500s or 1600s. This gos through the kofa game range which used to be a bombing range way back when. It crosses over hwy 95 to the cibola range which is where the military tests stuff. But there are bombing ranges out there. You don't really go next to them...

Not that I know of. You can get on Google Earth and check out the roads. Start is the road that castle dome mines museum is on through McPherson pass. Then next to kofa and Polaris mines. Then to hoodoo cabin. Then on to the gas line road to 95 to quartzite to fuel up. Then south on 95 to cibola lake road out to the river. South to where red cloud mine road comes out by the river
