When I installed my 4+ dual swing-out rear bumper, I had to relocate the license plate to the new jerry can/ice chest basket carrier. The stock license plate holder with lights was way too big and clunky for that location. I bolted the license plate directly to the carrier, and found this small light at Wally World. It was sold as a step light in the RV aisle, IIRC. Only cost a couple of bucks and it is made of cheap plastic, but it works perfect for this application. Makes me legal, without an obnoxious amount of light, and doesn't get in the way of anything. After 6-7 years, it is still on the original bulb too.
