Lane, I'm not really familiar with the area. Do you have a recomendation?
I'm not sure I'll be making this one. If I do it will be as a passenger in someone elses truck.

9 AM at the the Swanzey Post Office, 486 Old Homestead Hwy. (rte 32) Swanzey NH 03446

Gas and store next door.

I am sad to say that The Long Trail Run will have to be cancelled this year. We went up last nite to see how the trails made out. It took 55 minutes to get to a trail that normally would have taken 20 minutes. You have to take the backroads around washed out state highway bridges. We went in a trail that used to be a stocker and after about 1/4 mile hit a culvert that washed, About 30 feet wide and 15 deep. We then went around to another and that had a wash about 6' deep up ahill ass far as you could see. This area is out. Anybody have any ideas?

I completely understand, I was guessing that this would be the outcome.
What happens to those unmaintained roads now?
Are they lost for good?

are they now "hardcore" runs:hillbilly:

In case you haven't noticed, Fall gathering is next Week!

So where is the pre-holiday run?

Depends where

Good question, would like to stay away from Swanzey till the neighbors relax a little.
I guess it all depends on where you enter and exit though.....

NEA doesn't want any member clubs in there. Lets not be the club that puts the
last nail in the coffin.

No place in Mass to go? Tom's always wheeling with his buddies.

I have not checked in on that situation, If we were going to think about it I would of checked.

Thanks though.....

I think it's best to see where the most people will show up and then see if it's available, pick a date and go.

In MA there's Mabell
There's Gremlin Graveyard but it's pretty tame, there's OFR but I heard it's beat from Irene (in MA you now need a "Off Road Sticker" to wheel private lands. *from what I understand).
