That pic didn't catch the grin on the driver's face which is now a permanent fixture around that thing. :D

Very cool and Welcome! dont be a stranger, lots of good info/experience and general good times here

post up an intro thread

Ok so RDU must be the hot spot. 70% of the club and you're still missing a few locals.

All spotted on falls of neuse/wake forest around Hunting Ridge plus a built sunburst FJC with matching yellow cap and no roof rack i didnt catch up to. And as well a nicely stock restored red 40 I passed as well. All within a mile of each other.

Sitting at the helicopter pad at Onslow Memorial Hospital waiting for a patient, and an older lady in a nice white 80 pulls up to watch us.

yea, thats pretty freakin awesome.

So somehow both Andrea and I didn't have our phones on us when we just ran by the walmart in Belmont.

As we came out there was a beige FJ45 RH drive diesel with a tray back/UTE bed sitting right next to our car.

I waited around for 10 minutes but the owner didn't come out so I slid a ONSC card under his wiper.... hopefully he shows up... thing was clean as all hell.

Had a NZ flag on ther rear window and a friend of the smokies NC plate

looked kinda like this one without the huge king kong bumper and the big hoop off the UTE bed.

I used to see a 45 like you are talking about around my hood from time to time but it has been a while.

Here are two crappy cell phone pictures from when I saw the guy driving it about a year ago, I'd guess it is the same one you saw since I've never seen another like it around:

Spotted at Carolina Truggies

I never knew where Carolina Truggies and fab shop was but I randomly found it the other day when this truck caught my eye. I stopped in and talked with Josh at the counter and he was a really cool guy. Said theyve done a couple 80s this way. This truck was stock when it was shipped to them. Its now got Ironman springs, Ironman bumper, hanna sliders, the made part of the roof rack, coated the wheels and roof to match the gray trim, hanna sliders. Ironman winch, and they custom built this bumper for about $2700 to match the iron man front bumper. It was a nice looking truck. The owner sent it from Rhode Island to them.

That's Mickeyt's truck.... he shipped it all the way from Boston or something for CT to work on it. Didn't realize it was still there he was supposed to pick it up a month ago or something.

Alex (the owner) is a good guy and does great fab work at Carolina Truggies. And he got his start with FJ40s.

At least they're driving a toyota truck.

Darin you can have krazyfrog? Haha damn frenchies!
