Better be a Santana. @Izzyandsue , our resident Lean/Six Sigma guru, has no taste for all that Solihull "that'll do" manufacturing.@Izzyandsue I found you a nice Series diesel at a shop here in Wingate; also had a nice LWB Classic Rover

Saw a REAL nice looking mustard yellow FJ40 in Pittsboro today at Carolina Auto Restorations on 15-501. Wish I could have got a pic![]()
"That'll do" would be great, "Sod it, who cares" is more Solihull. I have passed on quite a few Series IIs, they are dropping price like crazy. Will be Santana or this MIL ANUNCIOS.COM - Toyota Land Cruiser HJ 45 . Fly it to Trollhole for a restomod, maybe stuff an FZ1, insulation, nice seats, AC, Nav, coil conversion, captain chairs, sat radio, rewire, minivan sliding doors, cheerio dispenser....17 cup holders.....Better be a Santana. @Izzyandsue , our resident Lean/Six Sigma guru, has no taste for all that Solihull "that'll do" manufacturing.
Was this the one you saw? This was a few miles up the road in front of Cole Park, or whatever the shopping center is called now, where the Town and Country Hardware is. This thread has made me a lot quicker with my camera!
I may have a D90 trail rig in my stable in the next few years. My brother, my cousin and I may start importing some for sale from the old country.
also not a cruiser but I know there are some modified VW bug fans in this club
