1.5" Rear Spacers and 1" Front Spacers?

Has anybody in here put on a set of SLEE 1.5" Spacers in the rear and 1" Mr Gasket Spacers in the front with the 2.5 medium OME lift kit? Do you think this is a wise thing to do? I want to bring the lift back in my rear after my Hanna rear bumper install, so I want to get the slee 1.5 spacers for the rear , but I don't want the "stink bug" to be there so I am thinking about getting the Mr Gasket 1" spacers in the front?

The Slee spacers were originally designed to be added to the J springs to get around 5" of lift in the rear. But Slee now has his own springs that offer a better solution.

For your use, I'd just go with the J springs. You'd probably need to go with the L-Shocks, extended brake lines, and sway bar drop brackets associated with J springs if you used the spacers anyway.

Well shocker, I figured that with all the lift that I lost in the rear, I would only be getting it back with the spacers, so I would not have to mod anything else because it is just going back to the original OME 2.5 lift/height, here is a pic of the rear and front, do you think it is level or the rear is a little bit lower?

CC93,

I wouldn't expect it to loose any height in the rear, as the Heavies [863] are rated for a 2.5" lift @ constant 220 kg [485lbs]. Ken's bumper weighs about ~ 150lbs (max). You have plenty to left in the suspension.

Since, each cruiser is different, using the spaces might induce a vibration, requing link adjustments.

You cruiser looks good, and is displaying the standard rake with the rear end sitting slightly higher than the front.

Personnally, I see no need for any spacers in the rear.

It looks fine to me. Your springs are now carrying their recommended weight. You can measure the distance from the ground to the center of your wheel arch if you need concrete proof it's sitting alright.

But if you go for the 1" MG spacer for the front, I'd go with J-spings for the rear over a spacer. Springs can compress when you stuff a wheel articulating, spacers cannot.
