traded the 2007 4runner for a 2004 LX470 with 35K miles. One owner Austin Tx. all service done on time and by lexus except this last oil change, bought it from a Caddlac dealer and they changed the oil 200 miles ago. It was manufactured 7/2004. Black with grey leather. Paid $36,xxx. no rust on underside was driven by a female executive for Cargill, but was not a lease it was her personal car. Felt like it was a real find. Owning a 100 series is addictive.

Back to the Dark side you have come. Welcome back!

Welcome back! Wait, you never left. Congratulations!

can you give me your impressions/comparisons of the 4runner vs. your "new" lc?
ride, power (was your 4runner a v8)
thinking of either a v8 4runner or newer lc for a daily driver-not an offroader
thanks

The 4runner was a 2007 limited V8 4wd. It felt quicker, but the LX feels like a luxury car compared to the 4runner. The LX feels more solid and rides more solid. the LX also handles better from a solid feel in the turns, could be the better suspension on the LX. I did own a 2004 4runner sport 4wd V8 with the Xreas suspension and it was great. If you get a 4runner the Xreas is a must have. Good luck.

Welcome back to the 100s. I liked my 4Runner for driving around, but it did not compare to the LC/LX. I agree with your comparison between the two vehicles.
