Maybe someone can chime in with some ideas. When the PTT button is pressed, the onboard microphone does NOT pickup voice. From another radio you can tell when the PTT is pressed but no audio gets transmitted.
When the external Yaesu mic is plugged into this radio, you can press the PTT but the radio does NOT detect the PTT button being pushed at all.
The radio has been flawless for a long time and this is a sudden issue, not sure what to think about it. I'll do a full factory reset tonight to see if that does anything.
